
Students
- Students may check out up to three books.
- The checkout period for books is two weeks.
- Students may use reference books in the Media Center; they are NOT available for circulation.
- Students may not check out books if they have overdue books or owe money for fines.
- Lost or damaged books must be paid for by the student.
- The fines for an overdue book is 5 cents per day.
- Food, drinks and gum are NOT allowed in the Media Center.
- Students must have their agenda books signed by a teacher before entering the Media Center during class hours. Students must sign in and out when entering and leaving the Media Center during a class period.
- Students are allowed in the Media Center before school and after school.
- Printing costs are 10 cents per page; go to the Circulation Desk to pay and retrieve your copies.
- The Media Center catalog is available on the desktop of classroom computers and can be accessed from home with the proper passwords. Pick up a copy of the passwords from the Circulation Desk.
Teachers
- Teachers may check out reference material overnight.
- Teachers may check out up to five books
- Teachers may send up to two students to the Media Center from a class on an Agenda Book pass.
- Overdue notices are placed in the students' first period teachers' mailbox to be distributed to the students. The notice will have the student's name on the outside of the folded, stapled notice. Please encourage the students to take a look at the overdue notice.
- The Media Center catalog is available on the desktop of classroom computers and can be accessed from home with the proper passwords. Pick up a copy of the passwords from the Circulation Desk.
Parents
- Parents can check out a book using their child's ID.
- The circulation policies for Students (above) apply to the parents, as well.
